I recently got a guinea pig. I was told and have read that they needwood to chew onto help maintain the length of their teeth. Does anyone know what type/kind of wood I use for such a thing?THANKS

you are supposed to give them apple wood, its a hard wood that will help in the wearing down of teeth.

The best thing to do is to buy the little wood chew sticks that the pet stores have for guinea pigs, hamsters and such. You wouldn't want to give your guinea pig an actual piece of wood as it could get splinters and hurt itself.

It is defiantly a simple answer, all you got to do is go to your local pet store and get those little decorative would chips and also they have bedding that has little wood chips in it!

hey u could use anything im guessing, go to a pet store they will tell u if theres a certin type you need
