You are allowed to have tried Marijuana about 15 times max in your life. It used to be 5. And maybe they have changed the 15 times since I last checked. If there is current use - you have no chance in hell.

If you have tried any drugs though, why join the FBI. It is a bit hypocritical.

If you want to join the FBI you had better admit to the use of drugs that are illegal. If you try to hide this information you will spend a lot of time in a Federal Correction Facility to think about it. Your chose in this matter.

Very important. Marijuana you might get away with-you smoked but didn't inhale like Clinton. Other drugs no, I wouldn't want you to have a flash back while you were doing something FBI related.

Current or former drug use? Current, very important. Former, if you have no record and no friends that will admit to knowing you did you may be ok. It could affect your security clearances.
