For one thing, with freedom comes the burden of responsibility for consequences.
The making of a choice often excludes the unchosen option.
Both of these are limitations.

Freedom as 'is not the ability to make your own choices, but freedom from choices themselves' would also be explained as total freedom wherein in a given circumstance, our free-will is presented with many choices but the free-will will ignore all these choices and deemed do what it wants to do.

In other words in a given situation freedom should not leave us with choices but in totality should lead us to pursue our intentions without options or alternatives. It is like passing through an open channel or the Strait of Gibraltar without any impediments that would allow us to proceed to other channels or options B,C, D whatever the case may be.

That is the idea of choice - to limit ones self. Freedom requires discipline because undisciplined freedom is anarchy. So you limit yourself to a chosen path and make you decisions accordingly. It is the choices we make that revalues our life.

Freedom is to make your own choices. anything else is determinism.

To gain the freedom to choose one needs education (even informally)

If you do not want to make choices, choose a dogma which will make them for you

If you choose one thing then you may have to miss out on another and therefore you have limited yourself to only one possibility.

However if you do not choose then it could be said that you are limiting yourself to no possibilities.
