Could you help me please?

Hello, I'm a third year undergraduate student.

I need people to fill in some questionnaires for me for my dissertation. There isn't much time left and I'm desperate for data.

If anyone reading this could spare a couple of mins could they go to http://www.surveymonkey.com/s.asp?u=383803342859 Id really appreciate it! There are no restrictions, and anyone can participate. Thanks very much if you do take part for me! There is only 40 simple questions so should takes you around 2 mins!

Thanks, Neil.

Been there, done that. Interesting survey. Good luck with that dissertation; I know how grueling that is !!! Hang in there; you know it will be so worth it!

I thought only doctoral students wrote dissertations. What school/program requires undergraduates to write dissertations?

...looking at the survey as I type comments here...

Spelling: "it's" is the contraction of "it is". For the possessive sense, the correct spelling is "its". You really should learn how to spell the title of your own paper.

"I feel calm" - Do you mean in general? Or right at this minute? Ambiguous question. Needs instructions.

Holy Jesus! 22 questions about state of mind? I'm overwhelmed, and I can't distinguish between the different terms. I'm answering "somewhat" straight down the line.

WTF? #23 & #24 are the same as #1 & #2. Why ask the same questions over again?

"I go to church because it helps me make friends" - there's two different data points mixed together in that question. One is whether or not the respondent goes to church, and the other is the motivation for going to church. Which one do you think you are tracking?

"I would rather join a bible study group than a church social group" - you seem to be assuming that religious people attend church, and that the religion has a bible. You don't know very much about various religions.

"Although I am religious, I don't let it affect my daily life". So how is a person who is not religious supposed to answer this question?

"Although I believe in religion, many other things are more important in life". I was brought up in a religion, but I don't believe the tenets of the religion I was brought up in. Religions are false beliefs about the nature of the universe. So I am NOT religious, and I don't let my religious training affect my daily life. What answer is the right one to tell you that? Completely Agree? or Completely Disagree? or Not sure?

GIGO - garbage in, garbage out. Your questions are garbage, so your data will be useless.

"If you at any time wish to retract the data you have provided, contact me at psyadunn@2004.ljmu.ac.uk". Okay, I give up. How are you going to retract data if you're not tracking the people who filled out the survey. And if you are tracking the people, then you lied at the beginning.
