In my opinion, Teppo and Jaroslav are too slow to fit into the Sabres fast-paced system anymore. I think they should go before the trade deadline in favor of two more capable defensemen. Spacek has been in terrible form for months before his injury, and Numminen just seems to make more and more mistakes. Should they stay of should they go?

I think Spacek is kind of meh, and wouldn't really by hurt to see him go if the team could really benefit from the move. At this point in the season, the Sabres have to be looking realistically at what they have and what they need to continue to be successful into the post season. I think dropping Numminen would really be a mistake, though. His play has been rock solid and extremely consistent, IMO, and he is one of the most experienced guys in that Sabres dressing room; he brings all kinds of leadership and knowledge to the team that they wouldn't get from anyone else. Yes, I love the co-captains, but they're still both relatively young. The best trade fodder is, of course, Biron, but I sincerely hope Regier doesn't risk everything on the prayer that Miller doesn't get hurt, because there isn't anyone who the Sabres would get in a trade or call up from Rochester that could equal Biron between the pipes.

They are both good, but Numminen is getting old, and he already is old. Jaroslav and Numminen are both slow compared to everyone else, but they are both very good at defense. They both got injured, but they may stay, or go. Only got until tomorrow, but I wouldn't doubt if they kept them, wish I think they will, until atleast the end of the season. If they trade them/release them at all, it will be at the end of the season.

Spacek is worth nothing to anyone; Teppo has been steaky his whole career. This is a case of the players leaving hurting the team more than anyone they could get in return ,their market value is just not strong !

i would deff. keep teppo over jaro but IMO both are great players. teppo has more experience and is a better leader thus the A on the jersey.
