I think the answer to your question is simply life is not fair. It took me a long time to gain accpetance of this fact. Nowhere, in the constitution of the United States or in the bible does it state that life is supposed to be fair. If life was supposed to be fair, the big fish in the ocean would not be eating the little fish. I think that anybody who believes in fairness is delusional and does not have a concept of the real world and how it works. You are powerless over other people and the way they treat you, the only thing you can do about it is accept it for what it is and make preparations to remove yourself from situations where you feel you are being treated unjustly. You may feel that those people should be stopped, but how would you like it if they thought you should be stopped, that would not be fair would it? Life is not fair, and thats just a simple fact of life. Many people are ignorant of this, and the sooner they can come to grips with this hard reality, the faster they can recover from the victim mentality and recover and get on with dealing with life on lifes terms in the real world.

That depends on what they did to "ruin" you. Typically, there's nothing you can do about it and nothing that the law will do about it if it didn't cause you any serious bodily harm or cause you to lose a large amount of money to ruin you financially. However, things like this are hard to prove and in an instance like this, it's also hard to prove intent. Good luck!

There are loopholes and no one to really stop it from happening. I once had an employer who was mad at me but told me they would give me a good reference. Come to find out from a freind who I had call that they were really bashing me, which is technically illegal, but proving it is exhausting. You just have to move past it and keep on keepin on.

Just because everyone is out to get you, doesn't make it wrong. Some people are just jerks, and deserve to be knocked down just as often as possible. Perhaps you're one of them?
