I suppose. I want to eat things that come in a can and without a can opener it would be very difficult to open it.

Yes i sure do. What other thing would we be able to use to open cans with? They are a much needed necessity in my home. Use the one that Pampered Chef offers it works great and easy and there is not rough edges on the can to cut you with either.
