We see them in the news constantly *cough Anna Nicole* sneeze *Britney Spears,* so much that we don't look at the achievements of regular people who make this world better. When are we as a society going to get over worshiping celebrities and focus on our own dang lives rather than these spoiled brats who think they are better since they get whatever they want?

I totally agree with you (and loved your response to the other question), but there is a reason for it... Our own lives are often boring and stressful, and we like to fantasize about having a fun-filled, glamorous whirlwind life, getting lots of attention, etc. We live vicariously thru these celebs. And we love to see them fall, like Anna, bec then we dont have to feel so jealous; they have problems too... I watch the Anna thing on tv every day, I don't change the channel. I never liked her at all, but I can't help feeling curious what will happen!
I wonder if you agree with me (my theory)?

This might make sense... Because they are in the public-eye they are not necessarily better than us, just that they are an extension of our social society. So, we will see you to, on TV, when ever you get your 15 minutes of fame. That wouldn't make you feel like you were better than me, right?
