Nerve stimulators can cause a muscle contraction. However, it is IMPOSSIBLE to cause spot reduction, or decrease fat concentration in a specific area (i.e. you cannot decrease abdominal fat by doing thousands of situps). Fat reduction is all about balance. If you burn more calories than you intake, you will lose weight. Therefore, nerver stimulators MAY help reduce body fat somewhat, but a much more effective way is to perform aerobic exercise (running, eliptical, spinning, etc) 3-6 times per week.
