The only possible time of conception was new years. She has had normal periods since then, with really heavy flow. But she is experiencing all the other symptoms (nausea, incr appetite, weight gain), but her belly does not feel hard which she says should happen. She is also somewhat sickly so nausea and hormone imbalances are not that uncommon with her. I know the only sure way is to take a test and the only REALLY sure way is to go to the doctor. But should I even be worried?

We didn't quite go all the way. But I did get off and may not have pulled out quite in time (I was not planning on having sex, it was just a mistake!). And no she has not been on birth control since then.

It is completely possible. You said New Year's, so right about now is when most women would really start getting those symptoms.

As for her belly being hard, as she ever been pregnant before? If not, then having a hard belly is not (by itself) a symptom of pregnancy. Of course, as time passes, and the stomach grows, the sheer tightness of the stomach could cause one's belly to grow hard, but it's not likely to happen in this short time line, and unless this is something that normally happens when she gets pregnant, it's not something that can determine she isn't pregnant.

Every woman is different. Some have periods the entire time they are pregnant. Others spot here and there, and others have no bleeding at all. So again, that can't be used to determine whether or not she's pregnant.

So the short answer you are looking for is yes, you should be worried. Have her buy a pregnancy test, and tell you the results immediately.

Also, if she is pregnant, DON'T get mad at her. It takes two to tango, and she's going to need your support more than anything. Spend more energy getting excited about being a father, and less energy regretting what you did. You'll make it work.

Oh, and sex is almost never planned, but it's also never an accident.

U should be worried, however u should be more worried if her breasts begin 2 hurt and her belly starts 2 get hard and she stops having her period. So be worried and if she isn't just remember if u play w/out a condom the consequences are greater than playing with a patch(female birth control) and a condom and then u won't have 2 worry about being parents because u played smartly nd not w/ ignorance.

yes because if she is pegnant then she needs to keep checks up on the baby and all and find out why she is bleeding so heavy and all and if she is not the again why is she having heavy flow and all.
these are all symotoms of pregnaney and all but it could be something else insetead tell her to contact a obgyn asap and get checked out because you don't want her to get to the point of her bleeding to bad and all.

well hope all works out

Anything is possible she needs to go to the Doctor for an exame...and Yes you should be worried because you should be practicing safe sex with contraception. When you don't just call "worry" your middle name.

Not to worry, unless you are not ready. But if you are going to have unprotected sex then you are ready.
