besides obvious religious views - the reality is, even the most ideal 1-husband 1-wife marriage has its problems and complications. Can you imagine the complications of 2, 3, or 4 wives and having to be responsible for this household along with the numerous children that would inevitably come from such a situation?

AND regardless of what you have been told or think, women get jealous. Its human nature. Thats the icing on this Complicated Cake.

There is a sacred union in marriage and if you feel as though you need to have more than one spouse, why get married? What is a marriage when it has more than a husband and a wife? I say it's a divorce waiting to happen.

But good for you on liking to be with only one woman.

It's ALWAYS BEEN bigamy. There isn't any such a thing in the United States because it would totally upset the order of things. If someone want to live that way, they can take it to another country who allows such things. This nation has enough issues.

It's not love. Trust me, you can love one person and one person only and when you do you'll want to give them your everything. It just isn't right if there are more than one wife or husband. If they do, like I said, it isn't love, and if there is no love there shouldn't be that commitment.

Good luck with your one woman =)

Having more than one husband or wife is bigamy. bigamy is against the law. Mormans probably started out with bigamy as a means of working out their ratio of men to women, but it is still practiced by them today and it is most definitely wrong.

I dont think I could stand more then one man lol. I think the murder rate would go WAYYYYY up.

What would the kids call them mommy 1 mommy 2 mommy 3 or daddy 1 daddy 2 daddy3 , think it would be a little confusing.

Well maybe someday we can have such differing cultures in America that we could be as diverse as they are in the Middle East.
Imagine that.
Judeo-Christian values founded this nation and it should stay that way.

One relationship requires enough effort and TLC to make a success, without having your time and attention divided.
