The US has been funding AlQaeda for years. Mostly it is done through the ISI (Pakistani Inter services intelligence) that is CIA created and funded. That way it doesn't seem as if it is coming directly from the US. The US, along with the Israeli government has been embedding groups to crate havoc in different countries for ages. Just another vivid example of the twisted US international involvement.

I think you should stop using dope. Islam is to convert all people to their religion, Christians in the past used the same methods until they learned that that is not what we were supposed to do our leaders filled us with the wrong information and we now now that love and forgiveness is the answer. Bush is not giving money or anything else to support AL-qaeda but I have seen doper types go overseas and give information on how to build bombs to kill our military in exchange for dope, so I believe the left wing will stop at nothing to get bush in trouble when in fact a win there would cause world Peace, regardless we should be converting our strengh to building nuke plants for power and building hydrogen cars that does not pollute our environment use synthetic oils and stop killing people. And stop telling lies about our leaders who are doing the best they can to helpp the world. And The money we save from the war we could hel help feed the world stop starvation and bring God into the world with a lot more love. But that is not going to happen as long as we have people who hate and are not willing to change their ideal or way of thinking believing that their way is the only true enlightened way to take care of the problems we now face. I hope America will come together again someday for the betterment of humanity but with questions like this I don't see it happening. Hate rules...

sure, that became said at present by Seymour Hersh, no slouch at the same time as it contains investigative journalism. the reason being fantastically glaring-the better Al Qaeda is, the further likely Bush's approval rankings will start. very like the 9/11 phenomenom.

You are connecting the dots where there is no line and jumping to conclusions. The article says that a by-product of our activity is the bolstering of Sunni extremists, not that the United States is supporting Sunni extremists.

Too complicated for Bush supporters. They are already extremely confused and dizzy from the constant spin, re-spin, spin. Flip flop mania!

Sy Hersch is not exactly what you would call an objective journalist.

Edit - I just heard the news clip on the radio. Hersch also admits that this could just be government propaganda.
