I'll be playing with her, and all of a sudden she'll shake her head about three times really fast, then we'll continue playing. It also happens when I wake her up from a nap.

My daughter started shaking her head around 7months. It turned into a game for her!

However, I do believe that mother knows best. If it worries you, get it checked out.

My baby also started shaking her head around 7 months (although she nods more than shakes). I was kind of worried about it too until I realized that we shake and nod our heads at her a lot as we are talking and interacting with her. More than likely she just discovered something new her body can do and is enjoying trying it out. I would bring it up at her next check up, just to allay your worries!
