I put my veiled chameleon on the floor of cage where the crickets are in a deep dish. I fed him yesterday and he ate one cricket. And now today he seems to not want to eat. HOW should i FEED him?? Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated and he does look healthy and hes not stressed.

My veileds ate best with their food dishes affixed within a crevice between branches. That way they maintain cover and comfort. Also consider downsizing to a smaller cricket size - maybe he's feeling a bit overwhelmed.

Also keep in mind they're skittish creatures by nature so maintain proper heat and humidity parameters and give him a bit of time if he's a new acquisition.

Well. . .maybe they just don't eat much??? Why not talk to the owner or person you bought it from, and ask the person about it's eating habits. Or try taking it to a vetnarian, I'm sure they could help. Good Luck!!!

it might be getting ready to shed its skin. if it's refusing food give it a few days and try again. eventually it will eat, if not then take it to the vet or the person you got it from.
