I don't know why I feel that the 4 1/2 hour version of Gone With The Wind isn't as good as the 9 1/2 version but I wish they sold both versions and declared the 4 1/2 hour version as the edited one.

What 9½ hour version????? I have the normal version on DVD!
I think this was a great movie... based upon an even greater book!

probably cut it down so they could make some money on it.
takes a lot of work to fix up the old movie...my thought is however if you relaly like the old one why do you want it on DVD? is it not on vhs?
