What makes it allowed to be done? is it the freedom of speech act? does it effect people culturally?

Freedom of speech. And they also have the right as public media to be parodied. That is what those movies do is parody another movie (or movies). As long as they only parody, and choose to do multiple movies with one movie, they are not infringing upon anyone else's rights, and using their own creativity at the same time.

It's called a spoof. It's been done in every aspect of life since the dawn of time. Nothing unethical about it.

its just a movie, scary movies and date moies dont effect other peoples lives. its just movie and if it wasnt ethical, someone wouldve been sewed eventually.
