lived there for 32 years, born and bread Capetonian,
I left because of crime and few prospects for myself and family.

I have had 2 cars stolen, been mugged once, appartment burgaled, good friend shot and killed (for R200), two friends of my wife gang raped at knifepoint etc. etc. etc.
