Put the ferret in some warm soapy water and gentley rub the the treacle with your finger and thumb. Make sure you don't get any in you ferret's eyes. Then rinse your ferret off with clean warm water and then dry it off

Use some ferret (or baby) shampoo. If that doesnt work try cutting it out, but we very careful not to cut your fuzzy.

sorry, i hope it all works out for your ferret, but i had this fantastic mental image when i saw that question!
i'd take him to the vet if i were you, as they will no doubt have a suitable shampoo and do it for you...good luck, and sorry for laughing.
