I had my tragus pierced in October 2006 and at christmas I bought a new bar for it. After a week after changing it, I noticed a blood blister type thing which was really sore. Now, I want it doing again, this time I won't change it for a few months! Can I re-pierce it in the same place or will it go funny again?

Of course you can. It will be a hell of a lot more painful though. Going through scar tissue always is.

Don't use salt solution or any crap like that.
Clean 3 times a day using warm water and antibacterial Dial soap. Before the last clean of the day hold a warm, damp paper towel on the piercing for 1 - 2 minutes. Repeat after cleaning with a cool paper towel. This helps to reduce swelling and speed the healing process.
No ointment, no touching the piercing except when cleaning.
NO changing the jewelery for 4 months!

you can repierce it, it will probably prevent it from rejecting if it is pierced under the scar tissue.. but just make sure you clean it thoroughly and regularly... and give it extra time to heal, the tragus is very thick.....like when your cooking steak, u give more time to a thicker steak.. same with piercings....FINALLY when it gets sore or enflamed use a warm salt solution, you can get the recipe for this off of any good piercings site.

first of all make sure whoever pierces it is a pro and checks the old piercing making sure there is nothing to worry about.then feel free to pierce it.try out www.BMEZine.com as that has a whole database on EVERY SINGLE type of body modification. :)

I don't see why you couldn't get it done again. Maybe consider the other ear if you are worried and don't want to waste more money.
