I recently read that being at peace with youself means you are somewhere between no where and goodby. What does this mean to you. Does it mean you are at a place where there are no more troubles, yet close to the end of your life?

We are all somewhere between nowhere and goodbye - nowhere meaning before we were born and goodbye meaning our death. If you are at peace with yourself, you have an understanding and acceptance of the fact that we have a limited time in our physical existence here on Earth and that we need to make the most of it. People often come to this point after a serious illness, or an accident, or the premature death of a loved one. All of the sudden, you begin to realize what is important in life and what isn't. Having that kind of peace allows you to not sweat the small stuff. So, I don't think it means you are at a place where there are no more troubles, because I don't think that place exists. More like you're at a place where you can put your troubles in perspective. For a lot of people, that place comes near the end of their lives, but it doesn't have to. The earlier you get there, the more you're going to appreciate the life you have.

You can't be nowhere because you are living here. So I don't see the sense in that. As far as death is concerned? We are all, at our own pace, heading down the road toward the Afterlife. We could be close to our death, or far away, we don't know.
