Unless Davidson lowers his asking price Guerin may not go anywhere but after the thrashers gave away a ton to get Tkachuk who knows...someone probably gives away their future for him. Best guess is if the Rangers wont include Montoya in a deal they wont get Guerin. The Ducks look to be the team in the best position, they didnt trade for a 1st rounder yesterday to hang on to. It is a bargaining chip for a big deal and they have shown the willingness to part with prospects so they have to be the frontrunners.

After the Blues/Thrasher trade the price for Guerin will be insanly high. If they want him they have to show St Louis something or others will grab him assuming he actully is moved.

Rangers are slipping out of the playoffs and do not have a legitimate shot at the cup, so they will likely stay put or even maybe trade someone away before the deadline. I think if Shanahan had not got hurt he would of been traded to the Wings by now.
