pink and gold are not ugly but if you have an hysteric mother or mother in law that happens to dislike this combination you will remain forever in her opinion as unfit,ugly,etc....And they will tell it to other relatives and friends and also may say some things to you right on your wedding day, so stay away of it if you don't want nerves.
On the other hand, shape of the dress is very important with such colours. You can choose gold and pink if you also pick the right model of dress, shoes and hairdo.

If u have to combine both, u will really need to choose the shades properly.Colors are important when it comes to clothes ( i tink ) so i wud advice u to take time to choose the color palettes.U wudnt want wedding that stands out like a sore toe.I like gold but if only the design n shade of gold looks flattering on me! lol...same goes with pink! Ure the bride n its once in a lifetime event so take time to look gorgeous . Congrats btw.

It's your wedding and the one day when you really get to plan exactly what you want. I think that if you love a pink/gold combo then you should go for it. Selecting colors based on someone else's opinions will just make you second-guess yourself throughout the entire planning process and the day itself. If you love it, stick with it!

For a wedding it honestly is...u should be more calm and delighted like with blue & white...gold is good but not pink ;D.....but its ur wedding and what ever u want the colors to b then hey its pink and gold :D

No. Pink and gold look great together. But definitely go with a softer pink, not anything like hot pink or magenta.

No. I think it's pretty. Make a pattern. One bridesmaid can wear gold, and one can wear pink. The pattern will just continue. If you're talking about a wedding dress, just stick to a pretty white wedding dress.

There are lots of shades of pink, many varieties of gold. Some combinations might be ugly, but I'm sure you will choose a combination that's beautiful.

I think you will regret those 2 colors together. If you really want metallic, pink and silver would be nicer for spring.
