how does the specific heat of water change when solutes such as salts are dissolved in it?

would the specific heat increase, decrease or remain about the same? i don't know whether it would increase, due to more hydrogen bonds or something, stay the same, or decrease due to introduction of substances with a lower specific heat...

salt water's specific heat is lower than normal water
