I take Prozac. It helps with Pre Menstrual syndrome, depression, menopause, post par tum and many other problems such as panic attacks. Meds are there to help us and we should not be afraid to take them if prescribed by our Drs. Many murders, violent attacks, traffic accidents, divorces etc. would be prevented if people who need antidepressants were on them. This is certainly a serious subject and is important for discussion. Thanks for asking it. You may have helped someone who needs help.

I've had multiple mental and mood disorders my entire life, and I never did illicit drugs.

No psychotropic drug, no psychiatric or religious counseling, no group therapy, no support group, no doctor, no nothing has come even come close to touching the problem.

They don't have a CLUE what it feels like or what's causing it. I've basically been told to just live with it.

I have read some litterature about panic attacks. But they allways seem to have a more scientific approach and that is nothing I need in my struggle to survive those horrible panic attacks. This is a "hand on" and very practical book. I felt it was written to me. I am sure that you are going to feel the same.

Joe Barry writes exactly how I think. The examples are perfectly described. And the method is genius. I recommend this book and thanks Joe Barry for writing it. It changes your life

No.Not anymore. I took some paxil after my first child was born because my "baby blues" weren't going away. It really helped. But I went off after a few months. I'm fine.

No but it is likely that I would be prescribed one if I went to a psychologist.
