i have a brilliant idea that i know will make me a lot of money but im finding very hard to raise that kind of capital, any rich people reading this give us a bell, ha!

Ask your local university??
Apply to the government (although they have very stringent terms)

Make out an extremely good business case, so you can do a presentation. Dress the part. Go to a bank - Royal Bank of Scotland is quite good for business I think, and arrange to present your case. If you have some kind of collateral such as a house with some equity it would be easier. Try other banks as you might just not hit it off with the folks in your initial choice.

Well my husband went to this mobile home park where there are about 300 mobile homes. My grandma lives in the park. He went and asked if people wanted their driveways shoveled and yesterday he bought home $34 and he is back over there shoveling today. It's been a snowy weekend and you can't make money this way unless it snows. But he is hoping to be able to mow lawns come summer. So that should be a little more regular if anyone wants that. To live in this park you have to be over 55, so there are a lot of elderly people there who have more trouble getting around.
