i really really try to work hard but it doesn't seem to get me any where - i still have an essay to do which i thought i would have done by now, and i also thought i would have finished my homework! what can i do to help me work harder and finish my home work quicker so it is still as good? any ideas????

Try to work somewhere where there aren't any distractions. Make sure you have absolutly everything you'll need to do the assignment, paper,pencle computer, referance books, absolutly everything so you won't have to get up to find something, which can lead to finding distractions.
Also get a glass or bottle of water handy too so you don't have that as an excuse ether.
If for any reason you have to leave your work area do what ever you have to do then go strait back if you stop and get distracted say it out loud if you have to - I have to do my homework-
Finally don't worry if it takes you a long time. Sometimes that's a good think. There have been days sense I got to college where I've spent 14 strait hours on homework, so getting good work habbits early is a good thing.

Yeah I'm with the others. Turn off everything on your computer except Word/Works. Shut the door, turn off the phone, tell the people in the house that you must work.
Make a list of all the things you have left to do.
Don't leave the room until you check them all off.

Get off the computer!! Do your work beore the last minute and then if you have a problem you have tome to fix it. Get help from your teachers if you need it. that is what they are there for.
Get off the computer is the best advice you can listen to.

well there's nothing much you can do to make it go quicker. i still have a bunch of homework to do too. maybe we both should start homework earlier in the weekend, like friday or saturday.

Get focused! Turn off the computer (unless you need it for research), cell phones, radios, lock yourself in your room and do not come out until its complete!
