No way, I'm not watching that snoozefest....you hit the nail on the head, all they are doing is patting themselves on the back and feeling like Gods compared to us regular folks

I watch it every year. I'm pretty sure I know all the winners in advance, and after all the previous awards shows, what could be left unsaid? The Oscars have gotten to be an afterthought and they used to be a really big deal.

did not hardship gazing the Oscars. Sean Penn is Sean Penn. he will make his political speeches no count number what or the position. the in effortless words decision isn't to computer screen him "pass off politically", and not at all patronize his videos. Does it hardship me? No. the finished element about freedom of speech is that i do not ought to hearken to him if i do not pick to. i'm no longer like the liberals who pick to remove Limbaugh, Hannity and FOX information because they don't accept as true with their viewpoints. I in simple terms substitute the channel.

I'm watching to see if Peter O'Toole wins a long awaited Oscar and to see if Al Gore wins. Plus it's fun to see who will show up in a totally crazy outfit.

I don't care about the Oscars but everyone wants to watch it. I'll answer questions and just look at it occasionally.

I'm going bowling and then I'll come home to watch bull riding (my not-so-secret vice). At least with bull riding, the bulls**t is the real thing. With the Oscars, the bulls**t is just political spew from people who, for the most part, are empty-headed nitwits.

WELL I THINK YOUR WRONG I THINK THE OSCARS HONORS PEOPLE WHO HAVE WORKED HARD FOR US JUST TO WATCH THEM FOR A MOVIE THAT HAS BEEN LESS THAN 3 HOURS LONG AND YET THEY TAKE MONTHS TO MAKE IT TAKING TIME AWAY FROM GIRLFRIENDS,BOYFRIENDS OR FAMILY AND FRIENDS JUST SO WE CAN BE HAPPY. SO I WATCH THE OSCARS CUZ IT HONORS ALL THERE HARD WORK DONT YOU SEE HOW HAPPY THEY ARE WHEN THEY WIN. ALSO THE RED CARPET IS SO THEY CAN FEEL SPECIAL AND GET THE ROYAL TREATMENT AS QUEENS AND KINGS THEY MAY HAVE MONEY BUT THERE REGULAR PEOPLE STANDING UP FOR THERE DREAMS AND MAKING A CHANGE INSTEAD OF SIITTING THERE ON THE *** THEY GO FOR WHAT THEY BELIEVE IN AND THEY GRAB IT!

I'd rather sort my sock drawer than watch the Oscars. I haven't seen it in years, and I don't plan to start now.
