I'm so sorry. I've been there. After having a perfect pregnancy and giving birth to a perfect baby girl, my next pregnancy was a tubal (ectopic). Here's my story....

Was having irregular bleeding. Woke up once or twice, after a night of bad cramping, to bleeding that would last for 1 day or so. I was also EXTREMELY irritable. My friend suggested I take a pg test and I did...big fat positive. The very next day, I had a night full of cramping and woke covered in blood. After passing out (while sitting on the toilet) I went to the dr where he did an ultrasound and couldn't find a fetus. We did blood work that proved I was pg, but since there was no fetus visible on the u/s, dr was concerned. I had blood work done a couple more times and while the hormone level was rising, it was at an irregular rate, so dr knew there was something wrong. He told me that when I started having a stomachache that didn't go away after a bowel movement, to call him ASAP. Well, that's exactly what happened. He sent us to the hospital, where I started bleeding again and was taken directly to surgery. We caught it before my tube burst and I have since been able to get pg again with no problem (with the exception of a couple miscarriages). I now have 2 beautiful girls and I'm pg with 3rd!

I'm so sorry you're experiencing this. I know how hard it is to go through. It's not easy now, but it will get easier. I wish you all the best!!

If it is ectopic, then sooner or later you're going to experience some abdominal pain on the side of the ectopic pregnancy. You'll need surgery soon thereafter. Don't be afraid, this happens all the time, but you will absolutely positively have to go to the hosptial. I wish you the best of luck.

I'm so sorry. I'm assuming they have already scheduled you for surgery. It'll be okay. I know people who got pregnant a few months after having an ectopic pregnancy and everything was fine. It's good that they caught it.

If its caught early they may not even have to operate and even if they do they can normally save your tubes and pregnancy can happen within a year.
