I haven't used the Riu Paradise Island before, but I can say that I myself love Riu properties. In fact I have never had a complaint from any of the ones I have used.
I'm not a huge fan of the Bahamas in general and out of my city with there being no charters it isn't one of the more popular islands that people travel to out of Minnesota. At least with ones I have worked with.
I honestly don't think you could go wrong with a RIU property though! In fact for here I would have to say that Sandals and Atlantis would be the best choices. Even though, I personally feel even the Atlantis is a bit over-rated and over-priced.
Remember to get your passports if you haven't already done so and book in advance for best prices as they are based on availability. As well as if you book farther out sometimes you will then find hotel special rates.

Riu - best hotel chain in the whole world. Great value for your money.
Don't know anything about RIU Paradise Island in particular, though.

I do not know about RIU,,but I am sure you will enjoy your self in the Bahamas, and as for the other response "Macaw", I guess she do not know how to have a great time where you can enjoy lots of sunshine clear water and sandy beaches. Good luck in your findings.
