Hey, I am debating this topic at school and want to get some perspective about it. Do you think the X Games are Extreme? Extreme Enough? Not Extreme at all? Are you an X Games fan? Why or why not? I'd like to hear what you think. It would help me think about this a lot. Also, if you have any cool sites I could check out, I'd like to get the links. Thanks!

Yeah i like the X games and like watching most of the different sports wheather ive done them or not. Part of the excitment of sports like these is the danger element, which is where the term extreme sports comes from. Sometimes events like these are in danger of being too extreme as jumps etc seem to be getting larger all the time. Its all progression but i don't want it to get to the point where if people don't make a jump etc then they injure themselves really badly or even worst than that. Or to win an X games event it becomes more about bravery rather than skill and style, that wouldent be good.

I think a snowmobile doing a backflip over a 100 foot jump is pretty extreme, don't you? I've been riding snowmobiles for 20 years and can't imagine doing what those guyz do...absolute insanity if you ask me!
