Yes, I practically live by it. If someone does something to me I don't do anything back and it never fails for it to come back around. When something bad happens to me, I always think about what I may have done wrong to someone and I always have found something. It's a good philosophy to live by too. If everyone were to follow it the world would be a much better place. (sorry about the cliche)

I think we have to..at least I do. There are so many bad things that happen to good people and it makes you wonder why that would happen. It seems like a way to rationalize what we can't understand, and I think it makes us feel..safer I don't know, to think that if we are just, kind people, no harm will come our way. It is karma? It is luck? I don't really know, but I try to live by it. So, the short answer...yes, I do believe that what goes around comes around.

Its called the law of attraction.

Your actions and thoughts affect everything that happens in your life. For example...lets say you give money to a poor person...by doing this you are thinking about giving to others. This creates a vibration, a wave of energy in the form of a thought that is sent to the universe. The universe(or God) will take that thought of giving and apply it back into your life. Since you thought of giving, you are attracting the act of giving. In the near future, you would probably find yourself recieving more gifts from others because you attracted it.

This works for bad things too. If you steal money, you are attracting the idea that you want to be stolen from. In the near future there is a good chance that you will be stolen from.

What goes around, comes around..some call it karma, others call it Quantum Physics...its the same thing

Without commenting on the doctrine of Karma, there are ways in which people can punish themselves by means of unconscious awareness of the wrongs they commit. Self-fulfilling prophecies can be set up, and if one believes, deep down inside, that he or she has done something evil, it will infect the motivation that goes into that person's enterprises, and mess them up. This can be the case even when the conscious understanding is that the wrong has been got away with. Then there's the mind-body connection, and its health consequences. But these dynamics probably don't operate for sociopaths.

I do...and here's why.

We are spirits in a temporary human body for the purpose of education here on school Earth. When we get back to the spirit world, after we pass on, we have a life review (course review) with our spirit guide, holy spirit, whatever you wish to call her/him...life review in high dimension.

We experience the good we did, and we experience the bad with all the ramifications, all the consequences our actions have for generations to come...sometimes for eternity. We are MORTIFIED at the pain we have caused others. We want to make certain that it never happens again...we design / prepare, our next course so that the bad stuff happens to us...sometimes not all in one lifetime, as we couldn't take it all at once.

We are assured, by this highly evolved, loving, compassionate being of light, that we were learning...even while committing these atrocities (that seem insignificant while we are perpetrating them). 'Ye shall reap what ye shall sow' is not about revenge...it is about learning, especially learning not to hurt others.

In the spirit world we have the benefit of everyone's knowledge...the knowledge bank. While in the spirit we know that everyone is watching....When we come here, we no longer know that, and learn a good deal about ourselves—while the cat's away, the mice will play. We have a physical life to develop our own consciences. As our children grow up to be like us, relatively speaking, we are growing up to be like our Parent...we are becoming Gods...Creators (and Maintainers) of universes.

It is not magic and it is not karma, it is probability. If you feed the snake your improve your chance of being bit. This does not mean that you will not get away with something. If you want a world where people do not hurt people, then act this way and don't hurt people.

On the smaller scale, there are a lot of people who help justice along and if they notice your standard is low they will apply back to you.

Social skills. That's what social skills are all about, if you treat others will respect, usually, they will treat you with respect. Not all the time, however, but most of the time. If someone fails to offer the same respect you have shown, get away and stay away from that person.

There is a lot of truth to "what goes around comes around." It is the secular way of voicing the biblical truth " you reaps what you sew."

I do, it dosen't happen immediately though and it's actually not that pleasing when it does happen although, if it were to happen at the time you were wronged you would feel happier about it. I learnt not to carry bad karma. It's easier to just let go.
