This question goes to the Kobe haters, what is it about him that make you hate him so much?

Kobe is a great scorer, passer, rebounder, team player? why do you hate him so much. He is the most talented person in the NBA and certainly the best!!!

There is no doubt that Kobe is a phenomenal player. The reason why I have an issue with him was clearly evident in the All-Star game. He is a ball hog, always has to be the center of attention, and is and never will be a team player. The name of the game, no matter what level of basketball is TEAM. Kobe is the definition of selfish. There is a reason that the LA Lakers haven't been very successful after Shaq left. Kobe can score his 40 points a game, but who cares if you don't win. Kobe cares about those points because it is all about how HE looks, he doesn't care if the team wins or loses.

The reason I dislike him (hate is a strong word) is because he has a "me first" mentality while claiming to be the leader of a team. The Lakers basically gave up their dynasty and traded Shaq because Kobe wanted him out. A real team player would have sucked it up and resolved the issue for his team. Kobe's an immensly talented player, probably the most talented in the league. But he's also a brat and a selfish player who doesn't care about the team. If I'm building my team around a player it would definitely not be Kobe.

If you looked up self-centered in the dictionary, there should be a picture of Kobe. He has no respect for the game. Its a team sport not Kobe- Ball. He is smug and arrogant and thinks the game revolves around him. He doesn't even respect his own wife. As far as talent and the best, You've got some kind of blinders on. I don't hate Kobe. I just think he needs to be a better human being. I try to ignore people like him as much as possible.

i agree with everything BJK85 said except that he's the most talented player in the league...he's not, dwyane wade is...but anyways, kobe scores only because of the number of shots he takes, i understand its his role, but he then goes out and criticizes other players(see gilbert arenas) for taking too many shots when they drop a lot of points on the lakers...he is not a great passer, he is only pretty good, and where do you get the idea that he is a great rebounder, that's not something he does?

the bottom line for me is that kobe is an arrogant ***** who can't accept the differences of other players on his team

why i dislike of him but i do admire his talent is b/c hold on how bout the owner of the team rename the team "team Kobe and the lakers" or just "team Kobe" now you go figure though i do not hate him he's a great player and next in line to be MJ and i agree to that but MJ and Kobe may be the same in stats but different team leaders

Kobe ran Shaq out of town so he can be the man on the Lakers. He was jealous that Shaq was the best player on the team. Kobe is selfish.
