you need more pitchers. offensive players play almost everyday so its not like you can start them all. pitchers however pitch every 5th day so you should have more of them to rack up more wins and ks. your pitching is alright. you have no saves except gordon. turnbow sucks and splits time and zumaya isnt the closer yet. curt and sheets are injury prone. your offense isnt that great. you have no power except wells and howard. glauss has pop but also a 250 average.

id give you a 5 or 6

Position Players-
1- Phillips isnt going to have the season he had last year, and a weak supporting staff doesnt help.
2- Glaus is an injury waiting to happen, an alternative is Kevin Kouzmanoff 3B for the Padres. Its Kouzmanoffs rookie season but hes projected to start and he had great stats in the minors.
3- Blalock could be a big payoff but hes also coming of an injury season, hes an injury sleeper.
4- Giles probably wont do much for you, you'll probably end up replaceing him with a free agent within the first few weeks.

Pitching-
1- Sheets could have a huge year, but he could just as easily be on the bench with an injury.
2- Zumaya isnt going to start as Detroits closer, he'll be splitting time which isnt what you want in a closer.
3- Turnbow will aslo be sharring time, Cordero is the Brewers closer but Turnbow will be trying to win the job.
