If so, what was your experience? I own a juicer and the money to buy plenty of fresh produce. (I'm already vegan).

It's important to know the source of your produce. I would recommend buying from a farmer's market or grocer that stocks local produce, if not, try organic fruits so as to reduce the amounts of pesticides you take in. If you can meet those criteria, then a juice diet is probably the way to go. Also, you don't have to stick with fruit, a "V8" combo might be nice through out the day. There's a lot of variety if you plan the diet out before hand. As for store bought juices, many are pasteurized, concentrated, etc., and these processes can kill a lot of enzymes beneficial to your overall well being.

I don't know that a water fast is too good an idea. Your body requires nutrients and some source of energy to maintain homeostasis. Granted, if you're large enough (don't mean to be abrasive, just being frank) your body fat will be converted back to energy, but you'll still need nutrients. Bottom line: do your own research and don't take any diet to the extreme. Also, remember to exercise.

Honestly, water fasting is much more effective for detoxifying the body. Also, juice fasting can cause a ton of problems because you are consuming way too much sugar. It can lead to chronic yeast infections and many other conditions. If you are going to fast, I would stick to pure water fasting. That is what people have been doing for thousands of years, and there is no reason to drink juice during a fast.
