I would like to know if anyone has had a timing belt changed on a zetec E Ford Focus and if so, was the timing belt guide pulley also renewed?

Buy a timing belt component kit

I Hope I've made my self clear

These motors have problem with cracking pulleys and it's a very easy timing belt(once you determine proper TDC)

These motors also have issues with the harmonic balance slipping so the timing marks may be inaccurate

Its worth checking if you should also renew the tensioners and the water bottle. Its an inexpensive job when they are already doing the cambelt, but a bit job if you need to have it done by itself.
