I need some differences between the French holiday Bastille day and July 4th which we celcbrate. Please help.

bastille day - on 14th july commemorates the storming of the bastille
(name of the prison) which led to the french revolution and killing of nobility using guillotine. therefore is the anniversary of france becoming a republic

4th july commemorates independece from the british
