a 9 is just saying the length of the shoe. a 9M is a size 9 with a medium width. a 8.5W is an 8.5 wide.

There is no difference...both a 9 and a 9M are the same as a women's 9 Medium.

The only difference between the 9 and the 9M is the width of your if have a narrow foot you'd but the 9, the 9M if your feet is not narrow nor wide, and 9W if your foot is really wide.

9M just means the width is medium, and 9 doesn't identify the width. i would guess the 9M is just a little wider. if you wear a 8.5 wide you can probably do regular 9.

Check out thier shoe sizes, or email the company asking them for the sizes of thier shoe. You can make a better guess of what size will fit you then.
