ok trust me when i say its too early the release time is at the postpartum check up which typically occurs 6 weeks after baby to ensure that every thing healed properly as well if you squeeze in sex and a load in her yoho then she could find herself pregnant again since after birth and shortly after heal time the woman is most fertile so wait til she is healed and on some kind of birth control unless you want another kid so soon as well comfort her cook her food and i know with my hubby after bothour kids when we couldnt have sex that didnt stop me from a hand job or oral sex for him because i know it can be tough just ask her politely and not when the kid is screaming offer her food or a massage in return so its not one sided and the time will come when you can have sex again and on the first few times after you may need some lube as well take it slow its almost like the first time for her

If she's had a vaginal delivery, the whole area down there can be sore and healing for several weeks. Especially if she had any tearing or an episiotomy (small cut to allow a larger vaginal opening for the birth).

I know after the birth of my son, it took several weeks before I could even fathom the idea of anyone touching me down there, I was so sore.

It's true, doctors will usually say to give 6 weeks minimum for healing after a vaginal delivery, but I have a couple of friends who enjoy sex so much, they re-started their intimacy after only 2 weeks.

I'd say use your judgement, ask your g/f if she's comfortable with it. If she is, why not? If not, there are a ton of other intimate things you can do that don't involve that area that can be satisfying too.

The doctor will have to release her.. you can tear/hurt her if you have sex much to soon. This is why they say 6 wks after birth. Also getting pregnant again is very possible as well. So try to hold off.. cause if she were to rip something now.. it would be another 6wks to wait.

Hey yeah it is still too early to have sex, they say six weeks is the best due to the fact that mom is still healing inside and their still may be a chance of some bleeding. but after that you should be just fine.

You need to wait until the ob/gyn says it is okay to have sex, usually at her 6 week check up. Her body needs to heal itself from giving birth, if you have sex now it will not help the healing process!

Yes 3 weeks is too soon...she needs some healing time and is more prone to infection...You need to wait for her 6 week checkup and make sure the Dr. says everything is ok...Good Luck!

Yes, it's too early - why don't you redirect your energy into taking care of all the domestic things like laundry and cleaning the house and cooking meals for the freezer so your wife can rest up. If you work hard enough, you won't miss the sex.

Yes it is too early. She needs to wait until she gets the all clear from her doctor at her 6 week check up. Wow, you really are a sensitive little something or other aren't you?

Doctors usually say 6 weeks to let the woman's body heal properly.

As a mom of three, all I can say is "OW!!".

Give it another three weeks for proper healing. You definitely do not want to do any long term damage there-- so just hang in there a little while longer.
