i have a friend named aaron who is really close to me. i care about him so much and everybody pretty much knows that i like him. except for him. people ask me what i dont like about him. he can be embarassing but lately ive realized that i actually like it when he embaresses me. i am seriously confused. is this LOVE or LUST

i can see myself being friends with him fro the rest of my life.i could see myself living with him. and no im not starved for attention. itry to stay away from attention as much as possible but with him it can be hard. the thing i like about him is that i know i can trust him.with anything.and the way im attracted to him is not sexually. i care about him and i worry about him so much. i dont like some of the people he hangs out with but he promissed me he wouldnt turn into a jerk like they are.

I think it's love cause u obviously care about him as a person. If it were lust u would only care about him sexually but from the info you gave I believe it's love and not lust.
The dictionary definition of lust is sexual desire if you don't have a sexual desire then it's not lust.
The dictionary definition for love is to feel tender affection for in this case a person. And obviously u do feel tender affection for Aaron so it's love.

Yes. Honey, you need to look up the definition of Lust! If you wish he would make love to you or that you could be alone and make-out with him, that's lust. Some marriages are not built on chemistry (lust) though and they thrive long after the Lust has left town and is only a memory they share!! If you have to guess which one it is, then I'd say it's definitely Not lust. @8-)
