this game belonged to the Patriots, no question bout it. Wide receiver, Racheed Caldwell of the Patriots dropped 2 important passes Brady threw him, one pass was in the end zone and dummy Caldwell dropped it, then, almost at the end of the game, he was wide open and the dumb butt again dropped another would have touchdown. So thanks to him, Colts went on to Super Bowl 41, that is bunch of bull, Also, a week after the championship game, referees admitted that they had made a bad decision calling cornerback, Ellis Hobbs for pass interference, check out the source where this is mentioned...so once again, no doubt this game was for Patriots, but oh well, we still got next year. so colts, be ready to suck again this coming season.

The colts didnt deserve the Super Bowl. If the ref didnt make that bad call it would have ben 4th down and Indy would have kicked a field goal. If the game had progressed as it did the Colts would have lost by 5 points and the game would have been over and the true winners would have won. It is the refs fault for giving them the TD.

On the very next play after Caldwell dropped one in the endzone, the Patriots scored TD with nice catch at back of endzone that stood after instant replay. The second Caldwell drop was more costly though as it forced New England to kick a field goal rather than scoring a possible touchdown.
Don't hang the loss on only Caldwell. Finally the Colt offense were able to sustain long drives against the Patriot defense for a change. I think the game came down to a fatigued Patriot defense that was on the field way too much.

As a Patriots fan, I will say it was no fluke. In my view, it was the match up of the two best teams in the NFL. You want a fluke, it was the non-existent pass interference call in the end zone against Ellis Hobbs. The Patriots deserved to win, but didn't. The Colts or the Patriots were going to win the Super Bowl, but the Colts got the job done. Wait till next year.

I say it probably wasn't a fluke, the Colts went out and absolutely loaded their team. They had more talent at every position but QB and linebacker. Give the Colts a year or two for their contracts to expire and the cap will prevent them from resigning those players. Then the world will be back to normal with the Patriots back on top where they belong. And go Lions, of course.

there is no way that this win was a fluke...caldwell did drop two key passes, but brady had a chance to win the game in the end and he threw a pick so you can't pin the game on him...and if the patriots defense had figured out how to stop manning in the second half, they would have won that way too
please, if you just wanna be sour about the patriots losing and complain to everyone about how it was a fluke, don't do it in a public forum and annoy us all

the colts game was not a fluke Peyton Manning showed he can come from behind and win important games the pats were so far ahead in points that they lost focus and dropped passes, made a few bad passes, etc. you can complain the referees screwed up. you can say all you want about the colts but it won't take away the fact they won the super bowl so get over it!

Hey man it already happend but we will kick the Colts *** next year. They may have beat us this time but we wont have mercey on them when we play them again next season. We are a better team and that one dumb *** call by the refs was very very very cheap. There is no rule in the book that rules pass interferance called on what Hobbs did.

My team, the Pittsburgh Steelers, won the Super Bowl as a #6 seed, they beat the Top 3 seeds in the AFC and beat the best team in the NFC. Everyone is saying that was a fluke, so how can you think the Colts' run wasn't a fluke. Herm Edwards sucks in the play-offs, Steve Mcnair choked, Patriot receivers suck, and don't get me started about Rex Grossman.
So yeah I think it was a fluke.

U should be blaming Brady. If he wuz that good, he woulda drove u guys down 4 the win (Not the ******* FG this time, for the TD!) He wuz 2 busy havin kids with his ex. Also, another team got lucky for once, and not the Pats. Ur luck has run out, so rellish ur 3 champioships while u can.
By the way, his name is Reche, so ur obviously just a fairweather Pats fan, not a real 1.

No. The Colts have turned the tides on the Patriots winning four straight. Manning has figured out the Pats defense.
