Boy!! Do i know how your feeling.. I am now 39 weeks but i have been ready since 36 weeks (if not before) yet theres nothing we can do about it.. Baby will come when baby is good and ready. You can keep yourself active with lots of walking or swimming which will help baby get in a better position and help labour go more swiftly once it commences.. Good luck hun! Xx

Well to start you can be patient while 37 weeks is considered full term your baby may still have underdeveloped lungs, i say be patient because you have the next 18 plus years to enjoy your child believe me i have two and i still wonder how has time flown my oldest is almost 4 and i wish that i could go back to when he was a infant to hold, but the next two to three weeks will fly and you will go into labor and its better to be patient then it is to force something that isnt ready i mean would you eat uncooked eggs or raw meat no so let the baby finish 'cooking' so you can enjoy her fully or she may have to stay in the nicu and you wont be able to hold her at all like you want. Be patient the time will come or you will get frustrated and wish that you had waited longer new babies take lots of energy and time so wait for her to decide when she is ready and things will work fine

i know how you feel and how impatient you can be. they say that you can have your baby any time after week 38 but it is better to wait till the baby is ready to face the world.. you have waited for 36 weeks and there are only 4 more to go and maybe less than that.. the doctor may give you something to induce labor if you wish to have your baby sooner... meanwhile you can walk alot and if you are not a diabetic, eat more sugary stuff.. this will help alot especially dates... good luck. i wish you have a healthy and wonderful baby

You don't want to deliver the baby purposely any sooner than the baby is ready...unless authorized by a doctor. Pregnancy can seem to last forever...but in the end you have a beautiful little girl or boy you can love and raise. Try to make the days go by faster by doing a hobby...knitting, sewing, scrapbooking..flower arranging...whatever you want.....something where you can be busy and maybe be making something for the baby.

My Dr. actually will wait til 37 1/2 weeks and then only induce if your body is starting to go on it's Own I feel your pain I am due on March 18 and my Dr. was going to induce me to have my son on my birthday but since my cervix is not starting to dilate on my own she said no. Not until My body starts or I am 40 weeks Sorry about my luck. Hope yours is better. Congratulations.

nothing really. You can start walking a lot, but if your body is not ready nothing will make the baby come sooner. It is safer for the baby to stay put a few weeks longer anyhow

You can't do anything but be patient. You can try walking a lot and sex, but really, baby will come when ready and not before. And don't start taking any "herbs" or other wives' tales stuff - you can do lots of harm to baby.

it really is. Your body isn't your own at present, and which will be confusing to charm to close for a lengthy time period. yet quickly, you'll sense the little flutters, and locate out what you're having, and sense the little hiccups, and it is going to alllll be worth it! I PROMISE!
