I went to a party last night. I am not a drinker, and I always watch what I do drink.

I sat down with an old friend of mine. She and I have known each other for years, and never has anything happened between us before. She and I talked for about an hour, and then she handed me a beer. I had this one beer at the party, and after that I remember nothing.

This morning I woke up with a massive headache, and lying in bed at my house. She was in bed next to me, nude. A used condom lay on the floor, but I don't remember any of this at all. I feel like I was unconscious the whole night.

Is this even possible? What should I do?

Rape is one of those things that leaves victims scarred long after the actual event. They begin to second guess themselves...Did they encourage it, did they somehow ask for it? Did they actually enjoy it? Was it rape or actually a date? Why couldn't they have seen what was coming and so on?

There is no cure, only acceptance and understanding that you were a victim... after what can be a long long time. I once had a patient who was so guilty because she remembered her own orgasm's, while her father raped her as a child at 11-17. She thought she wanted it!!!

Not true of course! What causes men to rape? It is a multifaceted answer, but essentially it starts with resentment toward women, and ends up being a control thing. Showing they are superior, that they can make their victim do anything they want..and so on. It gives the rapist, a sense of power, but the cost to both sides, is enormous on an emotional level.

Men who are repeatedly raped in prison, often are never able to accept their masculinity again, and often commit suicide, or other acts of self mutilation.

Get counselling fast, it won't solve the problem overnight, but it is the only viable solution.

If it hasn't been too long interior the previous there could nevertheless be DNA evidence to coach. I have no thought how long it maintains to be in a male vs a female even nonetheless i'm rather confident it rather is going to be the equivalent. If there are witnesses and persons the different guy "confessed" this to then you quite definately might have an impressive case besides. Rape situations is additionally appropriate perplexing to handle even nonetheless it is going to could definitely be stated. only via fact he's a individual and now no longer a female would not make rape much less heinous.

The moment you have "unconsented" sex, it is rape. One must consent to it. No ifs, ands or buts! A man can be a victim as well but it is mostly women that tend to be raped. It's a horrible thing to go through and not being able to remember what happened can be even worse. Sounds to me like your drink might have been "spiked". If that's the case, this woman/girl, is NOT your friend. NOT your friend if she knew someone else did it either, plus she violated you. I would recommend, as hard as it might be for you, to face her with what happened. It is illegal to "spike" someone's drink as well and it can be found in your blood. Have it tested. I would charge her afterwards, stay away from her and hope she hasn't or plans on continuing to do this. She has to be stopped! Good luck and hope this helped.

I've talked to alot of people that this has happened to. Some, women included, felt like they needed to cut back on their drinking. They were embarrassed and felt cheap, but not raped. Others felt they had been drugged and raped. So if you feel you were raped, then you were and should report it. If you don't want to report it, be careful who you drink with because there are alot of pervs in this world and they aren't all men.

yes, this is a possibility.

There are drugs and other methods that women can use to force a man to have sex, even when he is unconscious.

I would limit my contact with your attacker, and I would seek medical attention immediately. If she has used any sort of drugs on you, you have no idea the long term effects.

If during your examination, evidence of a rape is found, contact your local law enforcement officials.

Yes, it's definitely possible - although not necessarily common.

sounds like date rape to me, and that is not gender specific. I would talk to the police if I seriously thought that I had been raped. otherwise, consider it a lesson learned and don't accept drinks from anyone

Yes it is possible. On the other hand, you could have had a black-out. What does she say happened?

Yes it is possible...what you should do next is up to your disgretion...she can even come up to you some other day claiming that she's pregnant with your child...if you don't think its yours and you know she drugged your drink then speak up to her...

What's your female friend's number?

Seriously though, if she slipped you some kind of sedative that put you out, how could you have, you know, got it up?

But seriously though, what's her number?
