Yes, I see the Lakers making the playoffs, and overtaking Houston for the five seed after Lamar Odom gets back into form. On the other hand, Houston's two stars have injuries. Yao's playing with a knee brace and McGrady's back injury just keeps coming back.
And ya gotta think: Kobe will only stand losing for so long.

of course the Lakers are going to make the playoffs..... I mean come on, it's the Lakers. However because they had dropped 6 straight games i don't think that they will catch up to houston and san antonio. I also do not think that the 7th seed Nuggets are going to catch up with the Lakers since they are 3-8 with both Carmelo and A.I. in the starting lineup so I'm pretty sure that the Lakers will finish in the 6th spot hopefully playing the Jazz in the first round of the playoffs.

I think Los Angeles will make the playoffs, definitely. They have great teamwork and they have Kobe Bryant, too! I think they will enter the playoffs being seeded at around 5 to 8.
