i dont no who said this movie was good but it was not. it was so stupid and predictable and the actors were horrible. especially the girl i dont no her name but she was so bad thank god that was the only movie she did. only pple who agree with me write, dont care if u liked it.

Since I liked the movie I won't go into why, but the female lead was Jenna Dewan and she has been in quite a few other movies.

Sorry you didn't like the movie. It was predictable, especially if you watched Save the Last Dance, it was very similar to that.

I think that it was kinda too much like Save the Last Dance. It was predictable, but I do give credit to the actress. They had to find people that could dance and she was an awesome dancer. Plus, I don't think you or I could act any better.

Seems you miss the best part of what a movie
shows you. Step Up had a young person with
a desire to reach a goal and one of no goal at
all, both of unsupportive parent(s). When all Hope seems dead due to a setback, one does
take risk in working again with what is there.
One of no goals can contribute good ideas &
unharnessed energy to form a striving team
that reaches that goal and self-worth.
