I want to get mining licence for blue metal (Granite stones for construction works)Want to know all about this.Some say that one will have to test the stone if it will suit for crushing into 3/4" jellies,the site will have to be atlest 5 KM away from inhabitted area etc. Where can I get such info. from? If anyone knows please let me know that.

You should have a government department, something like the mines department, or geological survey etc, that will be able to help you out with the rules, and may be able to give you some geological advice.
