i use cetaphil face lotion and st.ives apricot face wash, because my skin is sensitive but also very acne prone. i find that these are gentle enough for me, but you can look around for products that are fragrance free, NOT unscented (unscented means that they actually add scent to cover up the product's smell, fragrance free means no fragrance is added at all. it may smell a little distasteful, but it will save your skin from being irritated by fragrance.) hypoallergenic products are also a good bet because they have to use under a certain number of ingredients and all those ingredients have to be something that most people aren't allergic to (for example, they wouldn't be allowed to use peanuts, because a significant amount of people are allergic to peanuts). you should also try all-natural products if you find you're irritated by lotions, etc with synthetic chemicals in them, though for many people, some chemicals, like whatever chemical they use in soap free face cleanser, are easier for them to tolerate than the real thing. i hope this helps!

try clinique products.
their 3 step skin care products are good.
the do a cleanser either soap or liquid soap extra mild for sensitive skin.
toner - again mild for sensitive skin.
moisturiser - dramatically different moisturiser for dryer skin or dramatically different moisturisenig gel for oily skin (or something like that - i haven't got the product to hand). this is safe to use on the eye area.
if you go to their web site you can do a skin care questionnaire which will advise you which products are suitable to your skin. beware though, each time i do this it tells me to use the toner numbered 1, but i always go for the one below that which is a mild one.
there are also other products moisturisers etc. which you can use as well as the 3 step skin care stuff.
i use all of these products as i have dry and sensitive skin.

use proactive or clean and clear if you want cleansers. If you want makeup, usually there is always bare minerals or makeup sometimes says "natural" try to avoid products that smell very strong. And you can always go for the "unscented" brands of lotion too.

Clean and clear for sensitive skin. It can be found at walmart. It works for me and also it worked for my mother.
