or simply they havent had time?
In all three cases, what would be the best course of action? Wait for them to eventually text you, or make the first move and see if there is a problem?

Don't be so stressed! I have a group of very close friends and I don't always reply to them/ they reply to me..... There are so many variables that could ber happening at that time, that you can't just assume they don't like you!
The rule we follow (normally for members of the opposite sex, but guess it would work in your case!):
3 unanswered texts makes you a stalker!
But the occasional one? Don't worry!

I think that text messages are a way to kind of say something without saying it in person....so if they have not replied then it could mean that they just have not had the time or you got to them at a bad time and they forgot to reply, but either way i think you shoudl give it some time because the last thing you want to do is come across as pushy or deseprate...so you made the move and sent them a text, wait a week or so then text back adn just see how things are, you dont want to give the other person the impression that you are hounding them becuas eif someone sent me a text and i did not reply and then they sent me another back right away asking why i didnt reply...i would think that is being pushy. And if after a week you text and they dont text back, then i think that is sending the obvious message that they prob dont want to talk to you and then you can go about finding out if you did something to offend them in anyway....hope this helps?!

it really depends on what you have wrote in your text, if it is same thing they did not want to hear. But i think they have not had the time to send a txt back or my no credit on phone. just wait and see. Give them 2 days text back or call them, then if still not got back to you then they don't want to know sorry but i hope for the best for you x

If they don't text back immediately, perhaps they're busy or haven't got any credit if they're on pay as you go. It may help to turn on acknowledgement/delivery reports because they may be out of range or have their phone off. If they *did* get it, and don't reply, wait a little longer and then try calling them to check they're OK - if they haven't got credit there wouldn't be much point sending another text and expecting a reply.

Dont make assumptions based on text messages - all sorts of things can go wrong. If you're really concerned, pick up the phone and speak with them. People often misread text messages or get the wrong vibes - as has just happened to my friend with her fella - misunderstood text, and end of relationship. Ring them!

id wait for them to text back if they dont reply in a few days then text and ask if there anything wrong there could be a number of reasons why they may not have any credit for 1.

If it was me mrsb it will be because I had a bit of a bad day yesterday..then the rugby was on and I was over excited, as the pic I sent you would have shown.

It could just mean they're busy / working or something or normally in my case they've run out of credit! LOL!
How long ago did you text them? I would worry, unless you did say something really mean, if they're a mate they'll get back to you at some point.

If you really thought you were friends then most likely they just didnt get the text or their phone died or something or maybe the accidentally ignored the text. Text them again and say hey
