It really doesn't have to be decorated all that much. I do agree with the notion of putting anything breakable in bubble wrap and also putting plastic painting drop sheets on the floors and beds.
There may be a lot of sick and shag going on.

I wouldn't worry too much about decorating because your house will be trashed once its all said and done. make sure to hide any valuables and keepsakes. I would just put up a few balloons on the door or on a bannister and maybe a banner that says PROM 2007 or something like that( if you just really want to decorate) But like i said, no one will even notice the decorations for real and as long as you have food, drinks, hype music, dim lights, and very little adult supervision you will be remembered as giving the party of the year!

it doesnt really need decorating, loads of balloons that sort of stuff will do, at my prom party balloons were entertainment for every one for hours- espicailly once everyone was a little worse-for-wear!!!
