I realize that you probably wrote this as a gag, but the fact is that interns make little to no money; they're there for work experience (despite what actually happened).
Presumably, Monica Lewinsky has a real job nowadays; last I'd heard she'd recently graduated with her Master's Degree in Social Psychology.
