How can I get rid of cooking oil deposit from my utensils?

I have read about using vinegar as a source, but cannot find any useful info. in google.
Any other suggestions welcome.

Any organic acid will do. Best thing around the household is lime juice. Just apply squeezed lime to the area, leave for about 5 min and wash off with soap.

Use dishwashing liquid. It is formulated to break up cooking oils. Funny thing...it will get cooking oil and food stains out of your clothes also!
